I know lower Manhattan must be rebuilt even bigger and better than it was prior to 9/11. However, selfishly I wish some of the open space could remain. It's nice to actually see the sun on my way to work. A few years from now all this light will be blocked out and I will come and go from the office in the darkness and gloomy corridors typical of this vertical city.
