Everything seems perfectly portioned and sized for me in Madrid.
Off-the-rack clothes are not all baggy and built for giant people.
Entrees at restaurants leave me perfectly satisfied but not overly
stuffed. Beer, juice, and coffee comes in normal size cups not Giant
Gulps or Venti-whatevers. Fortunately, Spaniards realize that bigger
is not always better. In fact some of the best stuff comes in small
sizes and tiny places. Take the many Tapas bars of Madrid. A perfect
example of what I liked about the city. Every street offered a little
hole-in-the-wall spots to get a small snack and a glass of wine or
beer.
