More shots from the trip to Madrid. This is from our tour of Parque del Buen Retiro. It was is indeed a place of "pleasant retreat" as the name would indicate. The late afternoon sun was hitting the monument to Alfonso XII across the lake as young couples rowed about and gathered by the shoreline.
